Dental Abscess

Dental abscess refers to an infection of the mouth, face, jaw or throat that begins due to tooth infection or cavity. • Gingival Abscess : This abscess is a result of injury to, or infection of, the surface of the gum tissue.
• Periodontal Abscess : This infection affects the patient deep into gum pockets that blocks drainage of pus.
• Periapical Abscess : This refers to a tooth in which the pulp is infected.
