The development of cancerous tissue located in the mouth is known as Oral Cancer. This tissue may develop primarily as a lesion in the mouth originating in any of the oral tissues by metastasis from a distant site of origin. Another medium of development of this oral problem may be due to an extension from a neighboring anatomic structure such as nasal cavity or the maxillary sinus.
